What you are buying.
CO₂ is captured from seawater and stored; this is not a renewable-energy certificate or an avoidance credit.
Captured CO₂ goes to geological storage. The DOCS protocol requires storage on a scale above 1,000 years.
Each tonne is tied to a facility, a monitoring period and a storage route, verified against the DOCS methodology.
Why engage early.
For buyers planning long-term removal portfolios, early conversations shape what gets built.
Tell us the volume and delivery window you need before the first phase is contracted.
If your IC needs specific monitoring, registry or rating inputs, we can plan for them.
Indicative pricing and cost assumptions are shared earlier with registered buyers.
Registering interest is not a contract and does not create an obligation on either side.
How issuance works — and where we are.
| 1. Methodology | Isometric DOCS v1.0, published October 2025. Done |
|---|---|
| 2. Registration and PDD | Project registration and project design document. |
| 3. Validation and VVB | Validation by an accredited verification body. |
| 4. Monitoring and verification | Monitoring plan and model requirements defined. |
| 5. Issuance and transfer | Issuance through the Isometric registry after verification. |
The sequence above is how issuance works.
A buyer's checklist.
The questions we expect in diligence, and where each answer sits on this site.
- Which methodology and registry? Evidence
- Is the project registered, and is a PDD available? Evidence
- Which VVB, with what accreditation? Evidence
- Gross versus net removal, and how is net calculated? Economics
- Where is the CO₂ stored, and what is the monitoring and buffer? Project
- What volume and delivery window can be contracted? This page
- What is the price basis and indexation? Economics
- What contract structure and credit support? Contact
- What happens if delivery is delayed? Contact
- Who is the counterparty, and who owns the technology relationship? Company
